Terms & Conditions

By participating in the Cate & Chloe Moissanite Ring Try-On At Home Program (“Program”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing your order.

1. Program Overview

The Cate & Chloe Moissanite Ring Try-On At Home Program allows customers to try select moissanite ring styles at home before making a purchase decision. Customers may select up to four (4) sample rings to try at home for a 10-day evaluation period.

The purpose of the Program is to help customers evaluate ring styles, band designs, and overall look and feel prior to purchasing a full moissanite ring.

Participation in the Program does not obligate you to purchase any jewelry.

2. Eligibility

The Program is available only to customers within the United States
One (1) try-on kit is permitted per customer and/or shipping address at a time
Cate & Chloe reserves the right to deny participation to any customer at its discretion, including but not limited to suspected abuse of the Program

3. What’s Included in the Try-On Kit

Each Try-On At Home kit includes:

Up to four (4) replica ring samples
A keepsake jewelry case (yours to keep)
A small return pouch for ring samples
A prepaid USPS return shipping label
Program information insert (optional)

Customers are responsible for providing their own shipping envelope or mailer when returning the ring samples.

4. Sample Ring Disclosure

The rings included in the Program are replica samples, not fine jewelry.

Samples are made with lower-cost materials, such as high-grade cubic zirconia
Designs reflect the general style, band design, and center stone size/shape of Cate & Chloe moissanite rings
Rings are non-customizable
No size selection (most samples range from size 6–7)
No metal color or metal type selection
No stone customization

The samples are intended solely for visual and fit reference.

5. Deposit, Charges & Authorization

A $40 deposit is required at checkout to participate
By placing an order, you authorize Cate & Chloe to place a temporary authorization on your payment method
The deposit is not a purchase price and applies only to participation in the Program

6. Evaluation Period & Returns

Customers have 10 calendar days from the delivery date to ship the ring samples back
All ring samples must be returned together, using the prepaid return label
Rings must be returned in original, undamaged condition

Failure to return the samples within the 10-day period will result in deposit forfeiture.

7. Refunds & Store Credit

If all ring samples are returned on time and in acceptable condition, customers may choose one of the following:

Full refund of the $40 deposit to the original payment method

OR
$40 store credit (recommended), usable on any Cate & Chloe product

Store credit:

Does not expire
Is not limited to moissanite jewelry
Cannot be redeemed for cash

8. Forfeiture & Damage Fees

The $40 deposit will be partially or fully forfeited under the following conditions:

Rings are not shipped back within 10 calendar days
One or more rings are missing
Rings are returned damaged, excessively worn, or altered

A $10 fee per damaged or missing ring may be deducted from the deposit. Severe damage, loss, or non-return may result in full deposit forfeiture.

9. Repeat Try-On Orders

Only one try-on kit is allowed at a time
Repeat try-on orders without a qualifying purchase may incur a non-refundable $40 fee
Cate & Chloe reserves the right to limit or deny repeat participation

10. Cancellation Policy

Orders for the Try-On At Home Program may only be canceled before shipment. Once a try-on kit has shipped, the order cannot be canceled and must be returned according to Program guidelines.

11. Program Modifications

Cate & Chloe reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program at any time without notice. Changes will not affect orders already in transit.
